THE
BUCKINGHAMS skyrocketed
into fame when their first single “Kind of a Drag” swiftly
climbed to the #1 spot on the charts. Soon to follow were “Don’t
You Care”, “Mercy, Mercy, Mercy” and “Susan” all
hitting the Top Ten spot nationally. The Buckinghams became a
pop phenomena. Television appearances on Ed Sulllivan, Jerry
Lewis, Dick Clark’s American Bandstand and The Smothers
Brothers as well as magazine coverage propelled them into stardom.
Their succession of hits led them to being named “The Most

into one of today’s most popular acts. Their music has
remained strong and appeals to a broad spectrum of fans.
